Sum of Our Fears is a fine art project that explores fear. These images are based on personal fears shared with me from friends and acquaintances. My love for horror films inspired the “film still” format which brings a cinematic aesthetic to the series. Each image is composed to appear as if it was taken from a scene in a thriller or horror movie.
I invite you to relate to these scenes and connect them with your own personal fears, realizing a commonality between yourself and the anxieties and terrors of others, understanding that ultimately we are all vulnerable, mortal, and flawed in our own ways.
